References

There are several machine shops available to Engineering students. The shops are in Dana, ETRL, and the Thermal Fluids Research Building.

Dana 46

Dana room 46

This shop is run by Miles. If you need to order any metals the first step is to go to this shop. Miles or Kurt will create a purchase order form that you will then need to go to get signed by Dr. Chuck and ok'd by Jan in Sloan 201. The completed form can then be taken back to the appropriate shop.

ETRL

ETRL 005

This shop is run by Henry. The shop is primarily for ME 311 Students.

Thermal Fluids Reseacrch Building

This is Norm's shop. There are several rules you need to follow in order to use the shop. The first rule is that you have to sign up 24 hours in advance before you use the shop. The signup sheet is in the shop. When you enter the shop make sure that it is known that you are in there before you start working.
