Talk:Online Student Evaluation Response Rates

Some Supporting Evidence
One notable trend that supports the conjecture that faculty and student engagement are associated with response rates is that overall upper division classes had higher response rates than lower division courses. At WSU, findings from the National Survey of Student Engagement suggest students in lower division courses are lower than student engagement in upper division courses. This observation suggests that response rates mirror student engagement. Coupled with our observations related to faculty involvement with student evaluations, we suggest that faculty engagement and student engagement are not unrelated, and response rates suggest something of the confluence of these indicators that merit additional attention.--Gary 15:59, 31 Jan 2006 (Pacific Standard Time)
