This article gives good detail about how to approach a lunch with an employer. It is a business meal so you should conduct yourself appropriately. A topic for consideration could be that even though this is a business lunch, your emploer will feel more comfortable around you/talking with you if you dont just stick to the given topics on this page. Although those are a good start, there are many more things other than school that can be discussed over a meal. The employer will obviously want to do business, and get a clear understanding of what is happening, but he/she will probably not want to talk business for the whole hour. REMEMBER: These are people, not just business drones... they have other interests just like you, which may allow for you to get to know them better...and who knows, maybe land a JOB!

Another good concept to go under the "talking during lunch" section would be to make sure that when talking always look your subject in the eye. Don't look around the room or past them, it makes people feel uncomfortable and makes you look like you are lacking social skills and confidence.
