Sending Packages

Small Packages

If you need to sent a small package to your company there is an easy way to do it. Packages from the MME department can get picked up by UPS. Pick up a form from Jan or Bob Ames in the MME Office and fill out the mailing address and contents of the package. Bring the packages up to Sloan 201 and either Jan or Bob will inform UPS for a pick-up. Note: Using this method means you don't have to fill out a purchase request or estimate the weight and shipping cost of your item. UPS can have the package to its destination within 2 days.

Large Packages

Large packages requiring crating or palletizing must first be crated or strapped on a pallet. Norm Martel in the Student Engineering Shops can generate a work order for this. Make sure to ask him when the freight will be ready to ship before you make shipping arrangements through Central Receiving. You can get a quote using Central Receiving's online quote form.

Receiving Packages

Shipping to the MME Office

Small to medium sized packages can be shipped to the MME Office a few different ways. Large, heavy (70lbs+), crated or pallated shipments must have special arrangements made.
