Full Model Testing
In years past this phase of testing has merely been the "does it break" phase. In all reality it should be the optimization phase. All theory problems should be flushed out in scale model testing leaving only small refinements to be made at this part of the design process.
Drag Testing
This year we are doing a full-scale drag test of our hull to determine actual drag forces. Using a power boat, load arm and spring scale, we will determine drag at various speeds and trim angles and so be able to calculate forces on the boat.
Motor Testing
