Endnote Updates
When searching from Endnote desktop or importing into Endnote desktop, make sure you first set Endnote up to capture article URLs. To do this, follow these instructions:
To access article URLs from database searches within desktop Endnote:
Within Endnote, click on Edit -> Preferences -> URLs & Links. Select the check box “Enable OpenURL.” Click the button “Apply,” then the button “OK.”
Depending on which database you are importing from, you will need to change the URL in order to access articles off campus. For examples on what usable URLs should look like, use this page on durable links.
For the most part, this will just mean adding the Libaries' proxy script in front of the URL.
