- To study PJ
- To produce publication-quality research
2. To develop and take advantage of professional development opportunities in Peace Journalism studies and the field of Communication in general.
- To attend academic conferences of relevance for PJ research.
- To provide an opportunity for interested students to develop research and presentation skills.
- To participate in or help organize events at WSU dedicated to the advancement of Peace Journalism inquiry.
