Mission Statement
AIAA is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) within the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), specifically, mechanical engineering (ME). As an extra-curricular activity it provides an oppurtunity for students to help design, build, and fly a model airplane and rocket with specific tasks in mind. It is a good was for students to practice engineering skills outside of the classroom.
Objective
AIAA plans to compete in the annual Design/Build/Fly competition and the NASA sanctioned university rocket launch competition.
Wiki Objective
The purpose of this wiki is to have a common place for our club to store information related to work we have done in the club. Each category should include enough information that the next years group can look at the wiki and be able to continue without having to redo any of the previous year's work.
Design Process
To prepare students for ME 416 we follow the House of Quality approach to design (Building the House of Quality). Follow the links to learn more about the process. You may also want to see Specifications also from the ME 416 wiki.

Officers
Being a small group nearly every member is an officer and certainly an active member. Being such a small group allows us to send nearly the entire group to the national competition.
