ASCE:Newsletter

Who:

The Fundraiser and President should work together to prepare the newsletter. Our chapter sends a newsletter to our practitioner advisors, the Inland Empire Section, and corporate sponsors that have made financial contributions to our chapter.

What:

The newsletter is a description of the current activities, future goals, and the success that our chapter has had during the current time frame. The newsletter is prepared as an incentive to increase financial contributions to our club and is also used to keep key people informed of what is happening in our chapter.

How Much $:

The newsletter is free to the recipient. ASCE picks up the expense to mail the newsletter if the department does not pick up the cost.

When:

The newsletter should be mailed out at the beginning of each semester to the groups that made financial contributions the previous semester. The newsletter should be produced in a timely manner to ensure consistency and keep people informed of our present status.

Why:

The first newsletter has yet to be mailed to donors, but hopefully it would increase the amount of funding we receive from outside sources. It is also used as a tool to keep our section and practitioner advisors informed about what we have accomplished.
