Foils
After meeting we are going to to build a test arm. This weekend we will be testing the boat for drag curves. Did some calculations for the struts. We can use 1/2" dia. pipes to create our struts.
Solar Panels
Tested the panels this weekend. The back panel is just fine. Need to add new lead wires. Other panel is only producing 9.0V and 3 Amps. So we have only been racing at less than 1/2 power during competition.
Electrical
Did not meet yesterday. Meeting tonight, to work on calculations to build control circuit. Should meet with robotics club to go over PWM stuff. Our controller might be able to do this.
Announcements
CEACC Career next wednesday. We need to have volunteers there.
Mechanical
We got the rudder bearing out!!! David spent over an hour getting it out.
Fundraising
We need to send thank yous to last years sponsors. We need to resend letters to old sponsers to try to reestablish contact with them. Also we need to contact new companies. Andy will send out contact info for people to use.
