General information
Testing did not happen this last weekend. We were unable to get boat last weekend. Testing will be this saturday, pending response from the crew team. Testing should be 2-3 hours out on the water. So we will be testing down on the Snake River this weekend! Send out contact information so everyone can get a hold of each other. Nathan talked to Janiki today. They are willing to help us out still. He will get an email from them on who to contact about getting models/etc. made.
Foil Group
Spent the week getting the foils ready for testing this week.
Electrical Group
Started working. But didn't get too far, so they are wanting to meet with professors for help. We have a possible contact through Shell. They have a wind and solar policy so they might be willing to help us.
Drive Group
No progress this week.
Solar Panels
During further testing of the panels, found out that the "bad" panel has a short ciruit in it. This is something that can be easily fixed. Nathan needs to talk to John Yates in the EECS department about repairing the solar panels. Another question for John Yates wiring the panels so they are in parallel and are easy to connect/disconnect. Also need to find a way to test the panels under load.
