Taking/ Starting a survey

To start a survey you must first set up a respondent group once this is done open the respondent group and click the "open" tab this will then open a URL that will allow you to take the survey.
At this time (October 2007), the URL you'll see once you 'open' a respondent pool won't work for data collection unless you first translate it. Here's a pair of URLs. The first comes from the opened pool. The second URL is the translation of the first. Note that a chunk [/Survey/Delivery/TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=] has been deleted from the middle, with a /s/ substituted for the deleted material. At the end, another chunk [&=test] has been deleted and a .srv has been substituted.

To put it another way, the revised URL has this form:
