Respondent Pool
From skylightwiki
A Respondent Pool is the name given to describe a group of respondents who have certain survey properties in common and who's members are managed as a unit for survey administration and analysis purposes. They share:
- Start and stop dates
- Delivery mode
- Metadata
- Completion URL
- count of the expected number of respondents
- a group of people authorized to see the results
A survey can have multiple respondent pools (for example class sections in a course evaluation); pools can be added over time (for example in a longitudinal study).
The respondent pool can have its own reports and access to the reports can be delegated to sub-managers who gain access by a Dashboard.
Respondent pools are managed with the Respondent_Pool_Manager.

In Silhouette (aka Flashlight Online 1.0) an approximation of the Respondent Pool concept was implemented with the Categorical Variable feature.
