More on "Tagging" (Keys and Key Values)
From skylightwiki
As a section above described, keys and key values (metatags) are used in creating matrix surveys. In addition, keys and key values will help people find what they, and other authors, have written, once "search" is implemented (late in 2008 or early 2009).
The system has five levels of organization: surveys, question groups, pages, questions, and question elements. Three of these can be tagged: surveys, question groups and questions. The level(s) where you use tags will be influenced by the kind of search you're anticipating. If you want to make it easier for you, or others, to find a specific question, then tag it.
We suggest that, if it's possible, you work with colleagues who might be searching similar materials in order to create tagging schemes (e.g., a thesaurus) that you will all use. We also request that you periodically send your tags and definitions to Steve Ehrmann (ehrmann@tltgroup.org) at the Flashlight Program. Flashlight Online 2.0 (powered by Skylight) will attempt to make it as easy as possible for communities of users to find and build upon one another's work. One strategy: identifying areas where different communities of authors might want to use the same tags and definitions.
