Video Demo

Here's a 5 minute demo, showing the process of copying items from another source into Flashlight Online 2.0. It's amazingly simple. (This demo also is a good reminder of some of the techniques of question authoring and editing.)

Tips moving from Silhouette (aka Flashlight Online 1.0)

  • View the survey in Print Preview
  • Open a new Skylight (aka Flashlight Online 2.0) survey in another window
  • Copy questions (a stem or a leaf from one window, paste in the other)
  • You can copy all the leaves of a Likert at once. Don't worry about the copy grabbing radio buttons, it works very well.
  • You can copy all the elements of a scale in one copy, then put line breaks between items. You don't need to worry about removing white space that happens before or after each item.
