Finding Respondent Pool URLs

There are two means to learn the URL of a respondent pool. The most common reason for doing this is to distribute the URL so the survey can be taken.

Manual Method

In the Respondent Pool List open a pool (click its name) and on the right, find the URL tab.

Note:Some Email Personal URL delivery mode has a URL for each respondent and you cannot obtain the URL via a manual method.

Download Method

Once the survey's Respondent Pools have been created, the ContextHelp:Report_Manager can be used to download a Standard Report in Excel Workbook (.xls) format. The Respondents tab of the Excel workbook has a column labeled Respondent GUID. This value needs to be put into a URL.

The Format of a survey URL is http://skylight.wsu.edu/s/Respondent GUID.srv
