Beginning with Version 1.3 (August 2009) WSU Network IDs are able to log in, but WSU Friend ID (FID) are not. Non-WSU people need to create a Skylight Account which is not authenticated with WSU AD.

Note: Prior to Version 1.3 all user accounts were maintained in WSU's Active Directory system. WSU users create their account through standard University procedures for students and employees to create an AD account. Others create accounts manually, or by upload. It is highly recommended that non-WSU accounts not use the same username/password combination as is used by the user in other systems.
