Updating Filters in Entourage

It is possible to use filters in Entourage to automatically move mail to a folder when it is delivered. If you have old filters that move Listproc mail, this tutorial will show you how to change these rules to reflect Mailman.

These screenshots were taken on a Macintosh running OS 10.4. Your computer might look slightly different.

Changing Filters

1. Open Entourage and go to the “Tools” menu. From there select the “Rules” option

2. Select the type of email account that you use (Exchange, IMAP, etc). Find the rule that you want to modify and select the “Edit” button

3. Change the email address to reflect the new Mailman list name and hit the “OK” button to save changes
