Deleting Session Data and Personal Information From a Web Browser

Internet Explorer 7

(IE 6 is very similar) In the browser window, click "Tools" then drag your mouse over and click "Internet Options" in the drop-down menu

Then in the "General" tab under "Browsing history," click "Delete"

Click "Delete files" and "Ok" as prompted

Click "Delete Cookies" and "Yes" as prompted

Select "Close" located at the bottom of the window.

This will take you to the previous window. Select "OK" to close the Internet Options Window

Now close the Browser and reopen to start a new session.

Cookies

In the browser window, click "Tools" then drag your mouse over and click "Options" in the drop-down menu

Then in the "Privacy" tab, click "Show Cookies"

In the popup window, click the "Remove All Cookies" button

Click "Close" which is located in the lower right hand corner of the window.

Select "OK" which to close your Options.

Now close the Browser and reopen to start a new session

Cache (Temporary Internet Files)

Select Tools in the menu bar of the browser and drag your mouse over and click Options.

Then select the "Advanced" tab at the top of the window.

Under this "Advanced" tab, there are more tabs under it, select the "Network" tab and click "Clear Now".

Click "OK" to apply settings

Now close the Browser and reopen to start a new session
