Changing your Network ID Password

It is a good idea to change your Network ID password occasionally, so that your account is kept secure. If you know your current password, you can easily change your password through myWSU.


Please Note: If you do not know your password, you should read the tutorial Resetting a forgotten Network ID Password.

Changing a Password

First, visit myWSU and log in with your Network ID and current password if you are prompted to do so. Click on "my Profile" in the left hand column (under myTools)

You will be presented with the Network ID Password Change screen. Type in your old password and your new password twice. Make sure it meets the WSU Password Requirements! And NEVER give out your password to anyone!
