Forwarding Blackboard course email
Please follow the instructions below to correctly configure your settings to forward to an external email address. Please note that sometimes external email rejects the forwarding or puts a forwarded mail into the junk or spam mail box. Therefore it is always a good idea to send a test email and check that you have received that email. Remember that you can also check the email within the Blackboard course itself to confirm. You must do all 3 steps. To reply to course email you must be in the eLearning course. You cannot reply from your email client directly.
*Step 1
Use the "my Settings" link on the my Elearning page to start the configuration process. This applies across all your Blackboard courses. See the screen shot below for the "my settings" link.
*Step 2
Edit your profile to enter your email address
*Step 3
Edit your my Tool settings to forward the email to the email adddress you just entered in step 2. You must check the box to forward the email and then scroll down the page and choose Save to save your new email settings. Then choose the "my eLearning" tab to return to your course list.
