7.6 Upgrade
On April 29, 2007, WSU Imaging was upgraded to version 7.6. This new version fixes numerous bugs, and adds support for Internet Explorer 7. To upgrade the client to the latest version, please follow these instructions (as sent to the WSU Systems Manager list):
Windows Client Users
The new version will install when you start your software for the first time post-upgrade. You will notice that Stellent takes longer to start than normal. In some cases, you may be prompted to restart your computer. Once you log into the software, it will take a few minutes longer. Please do not cancel or try to shut down the software while it is installing. The total process can take 5 to 7 minutes. After the install at first login, your system will behave as it always has.
Web Client Users
You will need to install the latest IBPM Viewer. After you log into Stellent, use the “GO TO” menu in the upper right of the window. Select “Preferences”. Once on the preferences page, scroll to the bottom and click the “Get IBPM Plug-in” button. Go through the install for the viewer. When you are prompted for replacement of files, select to replace installed files. NOTE: IF ANY OF THE FILES FAIL TO REPLACE, YOUR VIEWER WILL NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. This usually happens if you have attempted to view an image with the old version of the viewer. If this happens to you, restart your computer then log into Stellent and go directly through the install without viewing any images.
