WSUNexus is the WSU Wireless network found around campus. Computers in the coverage area with an 802.11 B/G wireless card should be able to access it. To secure the wireless connection, WSU uses a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to separate wireless from the internet connection.

To use the WSUNexus wireless internet connection, you must be a current student, faculty, or staff member and have a Network ID. Once you have those things, read one of these guides for advice on setting up the VPN dialer on your computer:

Setting up a VPN dialer for Windows XP/2000

Setting up a VPN dialer for Mac OS X

Setting up a VPN dialer for Windows Mobile 2003 PDAs

Setting up a VPN dialer for Palm OS 5.x PDAs

After the VPN dialer is set up, make sure you are connected to the WSUNexus wireless network (with the SSID "wsunexus") and click connect. If you have any problems setting up the VPN or getting connected to the network, contact the IT Helpdesk (For Students, Faculty and Staff).
