Image:MySite_promo-pic.jpg A WSU mySite is a personal information management tool for students, faculty and staff, attached to MyWSU. This system includes a customizable, private personal page, document storage, a public page for sharing, and an unlimited number of modifiable sub-pages. Subsites can be used to create electronic portfolios or for team collaborations. Each sub-page can be permissioned to allow other users to contribute and collaborate on content. Create and access your WSU mySite

You can create (and access) your WSU mySite from myWSU with the mySite link at the top of the menu, or by going directly to the URL http://mysite.wsu.edu/mysite

Logon Information

To log in to WSU mySite, use your WSU Network ID (or WSU Friend ID) and its password. Make sure to have ad\ (short for Active Directory) before your login name.

Tell others about your WSU mySite

If you want to tell others how to find your WSU mySite, tell them to use http://mysite.wsu.edu/<your WSU Network ID> to get directly to your page.

Viewing your WSU mySite requires a WSU login (either a NID or FID). You can open up a subsite to your WSU mySite so that it can be viewed without any login (Coming Fall 2007).

Create groups and collaborate on projects

Your mySite is a place to create collaborative workspaces, post information for your class for classmates, and work on team projects. You can create sub-sites to your WSU mySite and set up access to allow only specific people to access the sub-sites.

WSU mySite vs Facebook or My Space

Your mySite is a place to store term papers, projects, and other work. Then you can share your work via a portfolio.
