ListProc

ListProc is a email list management program formally used by WSU. It allows an email address to be associated with a list of people, allowing discussions much like a forum.
In December 2006 ListProc was replaced by Mailman, which adds a web interface and better archive support. The ListProc software was no longer being supported by the company and the hardware was becoming outdated. IT Services made the decision to replace ListProc with Mailman, which is a more user friendly list processing software.

Converting to Mailman
Moving Your List
Lists will be automatically moved in the weeks after Mailman is released. List owners and subscribers will be warned well in advance of their list address change. For more information, please email mmadmin@mail.wsu.edu.
Changing Filters
Once a list has been moved from ListProc to Mailman, the address will change from @listproc.wsu.edu to @lists.wsu.edu. If you have custom filters/rules in your email client, you will need to change them to reflect the new address.
