The Apple iPhone is a smartphone/PIM released on June 29, 2007 by Apple. It functions as a phone, organizer, and music player. The iPhone can connect to the internet via the cell phone provider or wireless internet. Currently, these phones are only available for the AT&T/Cingular network.

At WSU, the Apple iPhone can be used on the WSUNexus wireless network, and can also sync with WSU Connect! Exchange servers. Tutorials are currently being developed in CTO.

WSU Connect Problems

In the latest version of the iPhone software, there is a minor compatibly issue with the WSU Exchange server. When you delete a message from your Inbox, it will not show up as deleted in Outlook for 24 hours. Similarly, if you move an email to a subfolder, the email will appear on both the subfolder and the Inbox for 24 hours.
