Creating and Using Quick Links in your WSU mySite

Add a New Link

To add a new link to your WSU mySite, simply click Add new link in the "My Links Summary" section.

This will take you to a page where you can create your link.

Title is what will be displayed on your WSU mySite.

Address is the URL of the site you wish to link to.

New Group and Existing Group allow you to categorize your links into groups. For example you may want all of your class sites to go into a group named Fall 2006 or whatever the current semester may be.

Share on public view of My Site determines whether the link will be displayed to anyone who visits your public WSU mySite page.

When you have entered all required information simply click continue to create your link.

your new link will now appear in your links summary as you defined it.

Modify Your Links

Click Manage Links in the "My Links Summary" to open the link management window.

New Link will open the window described above to enter a new link.

Delete will remove any links you have selected by checking the box next to the link on the list below.

Group by allows you to re-organize the link list.

clicking any link in the list will go to that link.

When you are done with this window click Home in the top left of the screen to return to your WSU mySite. This page links from the customize your mysite webpart
