Your WSU mySite is a great tool for collaborating with others inside (and outside) the WSU community. You can create a page for collaboration, give the people you want permission, upload files to the page, have a discussion, even run a survey. To tell your WSU collaborators how to reach this new space, just tell them, its a 'workspace in mySite.' You can also copy the URL from your browser.
To learn more about:
- Sharing documents with one or several people (read or read and write)
- Creating and Using Workspace Sites (more elaborate collaboration spaces)
- Creating a Portfolio within mySite
- Creating a Survey
- Creating a Blog
- Creating a Friend ID (lets someone log into your mySite to collaborate)
- Setting Anonymous Access (lets someone access a part of your mySite without logging in)
- Managing Group Access to Sites (let all the students enrolled in a class into a site)
