Clearing browser cache

Each web browser has its own unique interface for clearing the browser cache. Here is some basic instructions for clearing the main cache for some of the more popular web browsers today.

Internet Explorer 7

After opening a new window, locate the menu bar and select "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu of the File button.

In this new window, click on "Delete" which is located in the General tab under Browsing history.

A new window should show up with several selections. Select "Delete Files" to delete temporary internet files and select "Delete Cookies" to delete your cookies. After selecting each button, you will be asked to confirm your actions, just select "yes".

FireFox

After opening a new window, locate the menu bar select Tool. Then from this drop down menu, select "Clear Private Data".

In this new window, make sure that "cookies" and "cache" are checked in their boxes and then press "Clear Private Data"

Safari

After opening a new window, locate the menu bar and select "Empty Cache" from the drop-down menu of the File button.
